Ex 'd' Metal Plugs, Adaptors & Reducers
I tappi in metallo sono normalmente installati sulle scatole Ex d ed Ex e per proteggere l'apparecchiatura interna dalla penetrazione di liquidi e polvere prima dell'installazione dei raccordi dei condotti e dei pressacavi. Consentono inoltre la presenza di hub di ricambio sul contenitore da utilizzare in caso di espansioni future. Adattatori e riduttori metallici vengono utilizzati per risolvere tutti i problemi connessi all'installazione del raccordi come giunti e collegamenti diretti di apparecchiature con diverse dimensioni di filetti e/o diversi tipi di filettatura.
